Nebraska, being a highly rural Midwestern land-locked state is full of things to do for someone who'd call themselves an "outdoor enthusiast." To give you a better idea, here is a listing of activities:

- CARHENGE Alliance, Nebraska- An outdoor sculpture construction in 1987 during a family reunion out of old cars which is a whimsical recreation of the world famous "Stonehenge" sculpture in Britain.
- CHADRON STATE PARK Chadron, Nebraska- A modern campground featuring various amenities such as RV hook ups, cabins and bike trails in a relaxing forest area. Chadron state park also features a swimming pool, volleyball court and fishing areas.
- UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA Lincoln, Nebraska- Enjoy your afternoon watching a college football game full of with spirit and sportsmanship. The University of Nebraska is home to the Cornhuskers, one of the best known college football teams in the Midwest.
HOW TO GET THERE
After hearing all that Nebraska has to offer you must be dying to know how to get there. Well you are in luck, Nebraska has many routes of travel, whether you live close by or in of a plane ticket.
- BY CAR: The main East to West roadway in Nebraska is Interstate 80, it is also the most traveled. This highway intersects at various points throughout the state but the best way this interstate is access is by entering near Omaha.
- BY PLANE: Nebraska does not have any International airports, but plenty conveniently located airports. The amount of airports also allows you to easily hop on a flight in and out of state, if you don't feel like driving at any point.
- BY TRAIN: For more a scenic route, you should take the train. The rail system has always played an integral role in Nebraska's history, the Transcontinental Railroad originally ran through this state. The Union Pacific Railway is still headed through this Midwestern state.
